Swivels
AMC swivels are made from chromoly steel to exacting specifications. They are nickel plated for corrosion resistance and come in several sizes and many styles:
1) Eye and Clevis
2) Double Clevis
3) Double Eye
4) Snatch Block Swivel
5) Large Clip-in Swivel
6) Small Clip-in Swivel
All of our swivels are machined from steel and include ball bearings.
The clevis ends of styles 1 & 2 include removable pins and require a cable eye or loop termination for use.

About selecting a Swivel
Swivels are designed to release tension in a rope or chain that is twisted. The ball bearings are lubricated and sealed so you don't have to maintain them.
Important: For use in tension only. Do not clamp either end of a swivel while in use.
Working Load Limits - is the maximum load these swivels are designed to hold provided that the load is not people or that the load is not lifted over people. This rating is one fifth of the ultimate strength.
Safe Working Load - is the maximum load these swivels are designed to hold when lifting people or lifting over people. This value is half of the Working Load Limit and one tenth of the ultimate strength.
